Sample Newsletter: Mid-Week Alert

GENERAL/OVERVIEW - 01/15/2012

Market Summary: The market looks like it wants to go higher but is being stomped on by the bears as they want it to go down. This is similar to the note to supporters (so supporters could short it) that StreetSweeper was challenging QCOR marketing practices. When it was leaked out to the media the stock dropped to a little under $34 but came back some after hours when the company went on the defensive. I don't know if it can beat the short sellers (which increased positions by 35% by 15 Dec), but I am prepared to trim 100 shares in the 37-38 area unless QCOR clearly defends their position. I should have trimmed some anyway at the beginning of the year since they are one of the largest positions and were close to a double from a buy in 2011. Solars have been on a tear this week but hard to see how they can continue going much higher with the global economic problems (tends to reduce funds available for nice to have green projects). Energy seemed to be hit with some profit taking today. More earnings will be out in the near future to help shape the market direction although the bears can override even good earnings with negative comments on Europe.

FOUNDERS QUOTE: Amazing insight by our founding fathers - could have only come from Heaven's inspiration.

"This I hope will be the age of experiments in government, and that their basis will be founded in principles of honesty, not of mere force." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Adams, 1796." --James Wilson" - AND - "That wise men have in all ages thought government necessary for the good of mankind; and, that wise governments have always thought religion necessary for the well ordering and well-being of society, and accordingly have been ever careful to encourage and protect the ministers of it, paying them the highest public honours, that their doctrines might thereby meet with the greater respect among the common people." --Benjamin Franklin, On that Odd Letter of the Drum, 1730"
